Dear Visitors of Piraeus Consolidation and Distribution Center S.A. (PCDC S.A.),

We would like to inform you that you have entered PCDC S.A. at SEMPO N. IKONIO 188 63, 210 4099000, a facility monitored by CCTV with the purpose of protecting people and property according to ISPS Code and Law 4624/2019. The recording is performed in accordance to the prevailing Law (GDPR Art. 6 par. 1) with regard to privacy.

The purpose of the surveillance is to protect the facility and the property stored in it against illegal actions such as thefts, as well as to protect physical integrity and life in all regards,  property of our employees and/or visitors. Surveillance data is recorded on a restrictive mode at the entrance points, cash registers and Pier II & III  where breach of the law is deemed highly possible. Surveillance is not focused on areas where privacy  is exceedingly threatened and your personal data is respected.

The surveillance data is accessible only by authorized PCDC personnel being responsible for the safety of the facility. The data is not shared to any third party, with the following exemptions: a) competent Judicial, Prosecution and Port Harbor Authorities, on the occasion the provision of such data is necessary to investigate an illegal action related to personnel and/or property, b) competent Judicial, Prosecution and Port Harbor Authorities whenever the provision of data is requested to perform their duties and c)  Parties involved in legal proceedings like the claimant or the offender, whenever such data constitute proof of violation of the relevant Law.

We file the surveillance data for fifteen (15) days and automatic deletion is performed after this period. On the occasion an incident is recorded, we  isolate part of the recording and keep it for additionally up to three (3)  months in order to assist investigation and legal process to protect  respective legal rights. On the occasion a third party is involved then the recording is kept for additionally up to six (6) months.

The data subjects have the following rights:

  • Right of access: You have the right to be informed on the occasion we process your appearance and on the occasion we do so, you have the right to receive a copy.
  • Right of restriction:  You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing, such us not to delete data you believe is necessary to establish or exercise your legal duties.
  • Right of objection: You have the right to object the processing of the data.
  • Right of deletion: You have the right to ask for your data to be deleted.

You can exercise your rights by sending an e-mail at the following address: gdpr@pcdc.com.gr or post us at our postal address, or by submitting in person your request at our offices. In order for PCDC S.A. to assess your request related to your recorded appearance, you have to specify where and when you have been attended, provide us your picture  in order to assist us to identify your personal data recording and to conceal third parties’ data.

Alternatively, we offer you the possibility you to attend at our premises enabling us to demonstrate where your appearance is shown. We note that the right of objection or deletion does not imply immediate deletion or amendment of processing of your personal data.

In any occasion we shall reply to you in an explicit manner  the soonest possible, according to GDPR provisions.

On the occasion you consider the processing of the personal data you are concerned of is performed against GDPR 2016/679 provisions, you have the right to file your complain to the following supervising Authority:
